My name is Henning Rohlfs, I am 21 years old and based in Hamburg. Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing with cameras, later working with them, and during school I was deeply involved in media and design. Over the years I photographed in different fields, including political events, but my real passion has always been sport.

I started shooting sports occasionally in my youth, but in 2022 I fully committed to it. At 18 I had already founded my own business, and since then I have been working to build a style that stands out from the crowd.

Along the way I have been able to photograph many different sports, which has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. The variety in sports photography feels endless, and while I have already captured several disciplines, there are still many more I am excited to explore.

Sports are more than just a subject to me. They are part of who I am. I have played football my whole life and also experienced American football, so I know the emotion, unpredictability and energy that come with every game. That is exactly what I try to capture with my camera. Sport does not always give you full creative freedom, but when you manage to turn its raw intensity into a powerful image, it is one of the best feelings in the world.
